NEIL ATKINSON, John Gibbons, Stephanie Heneghan and Adam Melia take another turn through Liverpool’s cultural scene.
Stephanie gives her six favourite restaurants, John gives his night out of the next fortnight, Adam gives his new thing to do.
What else? The theme, constant improvement. Growth. All the important things. All the cultural things. It’s Rewired. We nearly know what it is by now.’
As an American Liverpool fan, I had to look up a lot of these places and their dishes.. A couple comments:
1 – Black pudding looks and sounds pretty disgusting. What does it even taste like?
2 – That Lucha Libre place seems like it would be my favorite, but I would get my margaritas on the rocks.
3 – I also had to look up this Stephanie Heneghan character, but she’s quite the looker. That tall handsome bartender is a lucky fella
Ignore the black pudding haters, mate. Get to Ramsbottom or something.
I’m sure this was a great pod but I honestly could not tell you because the sound was so bad. The only thing i understood was that steph was planning to run in the boston marathon. As a long time enthusiastic listener, I have every intention of supporting your new project with a fiver/month but I hope you make it a high priority to improve the acoustics.
All for constructive criticism, Sandip, but bit puzzled by this. It was recorded at Radio City and appears to be absolutely fine. Anyone else had an issue with this show?
You always forget about how good The Cardigans are until you hear them again every once in a while. The singer must be knocking on 40-odd now. Time’s mad.
That A Camp album she did from about 5 years ago(?) was underrated as well.
