GARETH ROBERTS is joined by Mike Nevin and Mark McColgan for the first ever ‘And Could He Play’.
Each show will focus on three players to wear the red – a nailed on legend, an unsung player and a cult hero.
For show No.1 we’ve gone for two wizards of the dribble and a man whose short-lived Anfield career was still long enough to win over the fans.
Great show as usual lads,
I don’t have Twitter so I’d just wanted to say well in all on the TAW player it’s been really nice have the extra podcasts. So insightful, especially hearing about matches, players etc from before my time.
Great stuff lads
P.s the more of rob-bo the better
Really good that. I could listen to Mike talk about Liverpool’s past for hours. It’s strange for me because I missed the whole 90’s (from 92) from living abroad and it’s like hearing about it all for the first time.
Mike LIverpool v burnley 1979 won 3-0 you are right great save by clem in front of the Kop.
Great podcast, had to dig deep to remember my first Liverpool match, 1 November 1987 beating Everton 2-0 at Anfield, best £6 my dad has spent on me,got the ticket in the wookey hollow where my dad worked at the time.
