LOL @ “We play city of the first of march or of February” Can’t believe no one caught that. At 28:35
29th* of February
On the subject of ticket prices, it has to be all about the atmosphere. The atmosphere affects the team’s performance and in these days of Champions League and Premier League Tv and prize money you’ll earn more money by concentrating on atmosphere rather than matchday revenue. As someone who isn’t local and who would be more likely to get tickets if the stadium were larger and the tickets more expensive, I still want more local people in the ground and the better atmosphere that brings. I’d rather it be more difficult to get to the match and the team be in the best position possible in a sporting sense.
I’m not interested in a 60,000 capacity if it’s going to be like the Emirates every week.
The only reason for expansion should be – apart from the corporate part – to get ticket prices down and turn the volume up.
here, here nutbutter
a bit off topic…but ticket prices is all that matters. As an overseas fan, i hope u local fans boycott games if need be.
