THE Anfield Wrap has been nominated for Independent Website of the Year at the Football Supporters’ Federation Awards 2014.
The award is decided by a public vote, and voting closes at midday on Monday (24th November).
We’ve previously won the Podcast of the Year award in 2012, and we were shortlisted in the same category last year, only to lose out to The Guardian’s Football Weekly.
So why the different category this time around? The FSF answered that one on Twitter.
@robbohuyton @robin_crimes Thought you deserved recognition for the mag & articles too, so opted for website over just the podcast category.

Which is fair enough. So now all we need to do is win the thing. The voting process is dead simple, simply click this link and select your choice in each category. It takes a matter of seconds.
Aside from voting for TAW if you so wish, there are some other nominees close to home worthy of your clicks.
Raheem Sterling is up for Player of the Year 2014 — a title won last year by Luis Suarez — while Jamie Carragher is shortlisted for Pundit of the Year and Tony Barrett is in the running for Writer of the Year.
The winners are announced at an awards dinner on Monday 1st December at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.
So if you don’t want us going all the way down there in our gladrags to come back empty-handed you know what to do! Vote, share, RT and so on. As ever, thanks for your support in the last three years.
Well done las, you’ve got my vote.
