Regarding the march on Wednesday, I’ll be down there to cover it for the Guardian. I would love to speak to anyone going who has an interesting tale to tell in regards to ticket prices (ie so high they can’t afford to go to the match now etc), or who is planning to be down there with an interesting placard, banner etc. My email is: [email protected]. Get in touch and we can organise a meet.

Excellent pod
I enjoyed the in depth stuff on midfield. Whilst I marvel at the tiki taki of Xavi and inesta, I have always had preferences for midfields more in the Souness and Case mould. You know the type, the one’s that would relish the prospect of breaking your leg in 6 pieces with every 50: 50 ball.
With this in mind I would love to see the return of Masch, his ability to kick the shit out of any player or ambulance driver has always been a joy and this type of leg breaking phycosis is what our midfield needs.
