ON this week’s podcast, host Neil Atkinson is joined by The Liverpool Echo’s Neil Jones, The Telegraph’s Rory Smith, Hard Boiled Sweets star Scot Williams, Anfield Road’s Jim Boardman, Late Tackle’s Gareth Roberts, Godfather of the Liverpool Bar and Club scene Rob Gutmann, and Lambert and Butler’s Andy Heaton.
The lads discuss Stoke, Carra, Kenny, Kempson (The gobshite from The Independent who wrote THIS), Scot’s new film Hard Boiled Sweets and our impending trip to White Hart Lane.
Get. On. It.
Great podcast again.
Whilst discussing Carra and his famous ‘distribution’, I very surprised that nobody picked up that Carra did not pass to Lucas for the whole of the match against Stoke, not one single pass. Lucas showed for the ball almost all of the time only to be ignored. Must be soul destroying for him to constantly show for the ball to watch it go sailing over his head once again from a Carra hoof.
Another cracking podcast lads. Always seem a bit short in comparison to some other footie podcasts around but maybe that’s just cause of the fast paced witty banter and general lack of drone! Keep it up.
Another good podcast, just like a bunch of friends chatting in a pub (with the occasional cake tasting thrown in). Entertaining and sometimes even enlightening> Keep up the good work.
Hi Guys,
As the director of Scot’s film HARD BOILED SWEETS, I wanted to save a massive thanks for taking the time to talk about our film.
So appreciated, it really is.
Thanks,
Dave
