THIS week, while resisting the urge to slash our wrists, Neil Atkinson is joined by The Liverpool Echo’s James Pearce, Rob Gutmann, Mike Girling, Jim Boardman, Kristian Walsh, Andy Heaton, Proganda Photo’s David Rawcliffe and briefly, master baker Laura O’Connor.
Up this week are the Spurs debacle, Martin Skrtel, David Maddock and his attack on a small number of ‘political Liverpool fans’ , the Hillsborough Parliament debate and a look towards Brighton in the Carling Cup and Wolves at Anfield.
Get. On. It.

BY FAR the BEST Liverpool FC analysis and Podcast ANYWHERE online.
Keep them coming lads!
Very much appreciated for us lads from home living abroad!
So, Neil Atkinson, Mike Girling, Rob Guttman, Jim Boardman, Andy Heaton, Laura, James Pearce and Kristian Walsh. Have I got the sitting order correct?
Yup, spot on Harald
Thanks for confirming, Andy. It was strangely important to me to put a face to the voices.
Politically I thought you danced around a fairly big issue quite well
Despite Mike Girling and Rob Guttman turning up wearing some proper clogs, Laura’s boots take the prize for best footwear on the Podcast.
Aye – a nice touch adding the photos. Seems unimportant on the, er, face of it but, as Harald says, it’s nice to put faces to voices – even if seven out of the eight of you are deeply unattractive. Must admit I didn’t imagine you all sitting in a circle like that either. I imagined maybe something more akin to a Radio One studio. Folly, of course. I haven’t even listened to it yet but no doubt it’s going to be as engaging as ever.
Yeah, I love a man in a loud shirt too
Still a great listen even after the shocker at spurs! Well done to everyone involved, looking forward to the next one already. YNWA.
I think we who choose not to put up a picture as an avatar here, should not be commenting on the looks of the podcasters. :) I agree that the studio looked nothing like I imagined and how little I know of microphones and recording. How does two mices catch all you say that crisply?
Very expensive mic’s mate
Another great podcast, lads. Always well thought out comments/arguments from all. Oh, and well done for getting Laura to speak on air, again.
A superb podcast, non of the usual crap! Proper fans, proper Scousers! I listen in my truck, the journeys fly by! Please keep it going, thanks. YNWA.
The Photoshop work on this site is subtle and it’s subconsciously adding a veneer of class to everything about it. The image for the podcast – blink and you’d miss the typography and its message. Ian M, you’re a bit of a talent methinks. :)
Some shirt Neil’s got on there btw!
Photographers should know never to publish pictures where the woman is gurning as said woman will be extremely unhappy! ;-) Lovely to be involved in this shoot though! :)
With the exception of Laura, it’s like looking at some sort of Rogues Gallery. Never seen a more dubious looking bunch of characters ;)
Great Podcast, maybe next time Laura is in she can tell us who ate all the pies?
The photos look like a wheelchair bound remake of reservoir dogs :)
great podcast as usual..essential listening.
