Christ how can some of ye call yourselves fans at all. Negative, negative nannys.
Although this would never happen, I’d say play Suarez vs. Young Boys and rest him for Swansea so he won’t get a booking – Spurs are without Adebayor against us and looks there for the taking.
My favourite contribution was by Stephanie. Don’t have the exact quote but it was to the effect of’ I’m enjoying the rebuilding process’. Me too. Ok, I don’t want us to be where we are now in 3 years but I’m happy to keep seeing progress. I was out Saturday night and everyone was buzzin. All the talk was of Rodgers and particularly Suarez. I’m enjoying supporting LFC again.
Another point, I got a ticket for a Swiss student on Saturday. He’s not a Liverpool fan but has been to Old Trafford, Etihads and Goodison, whilst here, but the one he wanted to go to was Anfield. I tried to explain the atmosphere might be nervy until we take the lead but the truth is I was embarrassed. I was cringing.
One last thing. I was made up to see Enrique score but more importantly, play well. I thought he grew into the Chelsea game (few misplaced passes first half) and did well Saturday. The reason I say that is because one can sometimes get the Tony Evans Times syndrome. You’ve told everyone who’ll listen that he’s the worst footballer ever but the best shoulder barger and after each nightmare you take solace from the fact you were right. With some that crosses over into wanting him to have a bad game beforehand. He’s a Liverpool player and it would be fantastic if he can keep it up and improve our squad. It’s possible he can. After all, Rodgers seems to be getting the best out of quite a few of his players.
Another top listen lads, loved the idea of David Cameron adopting joe cole
How was that negative?
