As great as Didi was i thought Neil Fitzmaurice was excellent hope to hear him on again sometime in the near future.
Great show as always but how good was Didi Hamann today. He barely mentioned his book he was that interested in talking about football.
Excellent podcast, and hugely entertaining interview with Didi. What modesty! He could easily have been upset at being left on the bench in Istanbul (for Traore!) but instead plays a blinder and belts in the first pen. I recall he liked the odd pint, a flutter, and a smoke, but other than that, what a mentor for our younger players! OK, maybe not, but definitely a man to have on the sidelines to offer advice. He certainly can read a game as proven so many times in his career. With regard to KD and his line up for Stoke, with hindsight, I think you can see what he attempted to achieve, there have been enough of us calling for Johnson to be given a midfield role. I just don’t think there was enough time between the city game and Saturday’s kick off to implement and finesse such a strategy. Keep the faith, and keep up the ‘pod!
Great show as always, deffo the best podcast on the web, Didi is the highlight for this show though.
Great show guys – love the didi man. We could do with him out in the pitch in Lucas’ absence.

Best podcast so far fellas! Fitzy and Didi were incredible, both fascinating in their own different ways. Did you ask Didi when he broke his foot in the Istanbul final by any chance? I always wondered how long he played through it… P.S. hilariously I tried to find Didi’s book on Amazon and this was the top result for “The Didiman” – http://www.amazon.com/Yangpela-Didiman-Daunim-Binatang-bilong/dp/9980741279/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326897123&sr=8-1
Really enjoyed that.
Just wish Neil Fitzmaurice would have come out of his shell a bit more.
